My spiritual journey began in New England after a terrible automobile accident in 1995 that left me in chronic pain. Traditional medicines did not help ─ in fact, they made the problem worse. Searching for relief, I sought alternative approaches. To my surprise and delight, I discovered Grace. I found healing and was able to unlock a new reality.

Soon I began studying with a variety of gifted healers, mostly wise women. These "other mothers" shared their unique talents and helped me to discover the divine within. We studied meditation, flower essences, remote viewing, intuition, and medium work, among other things.  Doors opened and opportunities appeared.

This is also when I discovered a divine connection to Mother Mary.  I was not raised in a church, in fact far from it.  I grew up in a violent, alcoholic, often frightening home and like many other children of alcoholics, I do not remember much.  As an adult I discovered this was a classic symptom of post traumatic stress disorder. 

Since my childhood was so unsafe, one of these healers suggested we discover my own spiritual mother.  This was all very new to me.  I thought, “Spiritual Mother, what?  Don’t I have a Mother?  How could that help?”  Fortunately, I trusted my mentor and together, through guided meditation, we created the space for me to find Mary, in all her glory.  She had been waiting for me.  Years of waiting for me to see her - touching my life in the most profound ways.
